Join a Monroe County Environmental Educator at the Tannersville Cranberry Bog for the Public Bog Walk on Sunday June 14th. This is a chance to glimpse rare flower species like rose pogonia orchids, pitcher plants and wild calla. Those interested in participating will meet at the bog parking lot by 1pm. Pre-registration is required, cost is $4 for non-member and $2 for Environmental Education Center and Nature Conservancy members and children under 12. Welcome summer at the Everhart Museum’s Summer Solstice event. From 5:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. on June 20th enjoy great food, libations and music on the front lawn of the museum. Take a trolley ride Sunday, July 12th to the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre Yankees game at PNC field. The trolley departs at 12:15 p.m. from Cedar Avenue & Laurel Line Drive in Downtown Scranton and returns after the game.
